Do's And Dont's
I will draw:
- All payment must be done through Paypal only. Don't pay me until I send you an invoice to your email, so you can pay it. All prices on my commission info are in dollars, but I do accept Euros or BRL (Brazilian Real), after conversion to USD.
- Please make sure that you want the deal to keep going before paying. Money can be refunded, but please be very sure before paying. That will make things easier for me and for you! If you wanna cancel a commission before it is green lighted, feel free to do so, there's no problem with it! I just ask you to be assured. Look at my art and know that that's what you getting. If you do want the money to be refunded, please do so in early phases of the process.
- I appreciate tips!
Commissioning Request, Process and Details
- Requesting
- First off: if you're a person or company want to hire me for a job that don't fall in the categories of my regular commissions, like hiring me for a coloring job or anything like that, contat me through my email, [email protected] I'm available at the moment!
- If you wanna commission me, you can contact me via email, social media or through the form at the end of the commission info page
- If the character isn't easily found through basic google search, and/or you're looking for a specific look, like a specific outfit, send me references. Specially If it's an original character! This goes for any occasion in which you want something very specific.
- Extra references are to be sent to me through Email, Twitter DM if that's your main way of contact, or by putting links on the comment section of the form (for now, uploads through the form isn't possible).
- I can design original characters! If you don't have references and you need me to design your character, it will cost extra fees. The cost will change depending on how much I'll have to create, and depending on the complexity. See my commission info page for details of how much I charge for original characters. Extra fees may be applied if, even if it's not an original character, you want a redesign of a character (for example, a robotic version of a character who isn't a robot).
- If you want specific colors, and you wanna be 100% sure that your character color palette will be intact, please send extra references.
- If, after sending the form, message or email, you feel you wanna change information for any reason, feel free to send another form, message or email. I have no problem with that! If you wanna cancel a commission request after you've already sent the request, just send another email or message saying so! The sooner, the better. And I ask again: please, be sure that you want the whole thing to keep going before paying. Changing your mind before paying is not an issue; changing your mind after I've already started working on the commissions is an issue.
- Depending on the number of requests I have at the moment, I may not read and reply to you immediately. Depending on how many commissions I have, it may take a couple days for me to reply! Also, I may not take your commission at all; I don't have the obligation to take every commission. If I don't take it because I'm too busy and full of commissions, I'll send you a reply saying so, asking if you would like the commission to keep going, even though you know it may take a long while until I'm on a more comfortable timing to work on your commission.
- First of all: impolite, rude behavior will not be tolerated. I can tell now, I'll cancel the commission if you're impolite and too hard to work with. Please, keep that in mind. If there's an issue with the whole process, let's discuss it in educated way. I'll always be polite, no matter what. If you make it hard to be reasoned with, I will cancel the whole thing, and stop responding. I will prioritize my own mental health, and I don't need to tolerate rude behavior.
- After analyzing your request, and after further talking (if necessary), I will calculate the price and send you a Paypal invoice. I'll only start working on the commission after it's paid. If, after receiving the invoice, you change your mind not wanna pay it, no problem! Don't feel like you have to pay just because you were sent an invoice (of course, not paying means the commission won't be happening, at least until it's paid).
- If, after I send you the invoice, you change your mind about a detail of the commission, you can contact me again saying so, and I'll send another invoice with the new configuration and price (if the price changes). This whole process can be really flexible!
- In the comment section of the Paypal invoice, I will inform you how many days it will take for me to finish your commission.
- Upon payment, I will then inform you of a Deadline date. This isn't necessarily the day I'll finish the commission; rather, it's a limit date. It's just a deadline which, no matter what, I need to respect. It's a date for you to hold on to, being assured that I will finish the commission within that time for sure.
- So you'll have two dates: one that informs you when I'll most probably finish the commission, and another one that functions like an absolute deadline, which I must respect.
- The complexity of the commission, the amount of free time I have at the moment and some other external circumstances will influence on how long it will take for me to finish your commission. When I have plenty of free time, and it's not something as complex as a painting, it will take up to four days to be finished. It's important that I can take my time! Not only it's better for me to keep a healthy work schedule, it's also better for you, as it guarantees I won't have to rush the job. Being able to take time is necessary!
- First come, first served!
- If you want your commission to be finished until a specific date or deadline, that may be arranged, depending on my current schedule. It won't be possible It may or not requires an extra fee, though. That should be informed by you within the commission request, and the extra fee, if I decide to charge it (depending on the date you stipulated), it will be added in the Paypal invoice as an extra fee.
- I may or may not deliver some extra content! Don't hold on to that, but sometimes, specially with more complex jobs, I save different stages of the job, like early sketches, clean line art and flat colors (before shading). Sometimes I save two different versions, with and without a certain filter or effect. IF I do save some, I'll send it to you along with the final product!
- That being said: I don't send WIPs when working. Sorry! Just trust on my job that the final product will be as good as the job you can see on my blog and gallery. Many times, WIPs are not representative of the final quality of the product! A lot of the final look of my artwork come in later processes, which you can't see in early WIPs. Don't expect me to send you WIPs! Unless I'm working with character design. In this case, early concepts will be sent, so you can send feedback on candidate concepts
- I must be able to post the art afterwards. I need to show my works so people can see the quality of my job!
Additional Fees will be applied when:
- You request the commission to be prioritized over other commissions;
- You want your commission to be finished earlier than the normal, if your request makes the time I have to finish the commission too much shorter than the normal;
- My job includes designing characters;
- The job includes NSFW (just a small fee though);
- Additional characters, obviously;
- When the character's complexity is enough to make the work take longer than normal;
- The job includes characters interacting (just a small fee).
